Where shall I save the free word templates to use in Kingsoft Writer?

Follow these steps to apply the free templates to your Kingsoft Writer document.

Download and save the templates to the right location

After you download the free templates from our download center, save them in this location: C:\Program Files\Kingsoft\Kingsoft Office\templates\1033\wps. Create a new folder to store your templates.

The templates are placed in the new folder called my templates:

Create Document from Templates

Launch Kingsoft Writer, and create a new document from templates. See following:

The Templates dialog pops up. In this dialog box, you will find the new "my templates" tab. Click that tab and select your templates.

Note: The templates that appear in this Templates dialog box can only be in the format of *.wpt. In case your templates are not in this format, convert them to *.wpt before saving them to this location.
