"I have been on the lookout for MS Office replacement suites that can reliably open Excel 2007/2010 files – in reasonable time. OpenOffice is a lottery while Libre Office takes forever to load a file that contains pivot data.
I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the Kingsoft Office Suite (I’m using the free version). Even complex Excel spreadsheets loaded quickly. The filters also work properly. In just a day of use, you have a new convert in me!
